Alejandro Aguirre

About
Alejandro Aguirre received his MFA at Boston University, where he was awarded a Robert Pinsky Global Fellowship and the Academy of American Poets Prize. His chapbook manuscript The Service was a finalist for the Munster Literature Centre's Fool for Poetry Chapbook Competition. His poems have also been selected as finalists for Nimrod's Pablo Neruda Prize and the Atlanta Review's Dan Veach Prize—and are published in Rattle, Denver Quarterly, Hampden-Sydney Poetry Review, Louisiana Literature, Hawai’i Pacific Review, and elsewhere. He teaches literature and creative writing in Miami, FL.
